I've been trying to rediscover my love for the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series; I'm more a story-play watcher than an actual game-gamer, so my last connection with the fandom was during Sonic Adventures 2. I do own Sonic Riders and Shadow the Hedgehog games, but I've given up playing those cause I cant seem to be able to rotate the camera right; its really frustrating.
So anyway, this picture is more a notion of "What if Shadow, in Sonic the Dark Knight, was a mythical creature instead of a knight? Lancelot was honestly the last thing on my mind... if he turned out to be a Gryphon, now that would haven been pretty cool!" and, yeah... this came out.
The background was just a bunch of lines and dots, but a background nonetheless. I think I could have done better with this 'spikes' but I like them this way regardless. I didn't want them to look too feathery...
Really cool! I really like how your create it be like Shadow figure and the colour are wonderful interesting background. But I really wonder what his role would be in the Sonic the Dark/Black Knight and Sonic reaction once he see Shadow Gryphon then again maybe it will take Sonic awhile to realize it Shadow. Anyway I really like the idea of Shadow being a Gryphon through there got to someone who will replace Shadow to be Lancelot in the game. awesome work! ^-^

That's so epic! Shadow's probably my favorite character out of the Sega saga and the whole Gryphon thing is an awesome idea even if I liked the Lancelot get-up XP
I don't have the Dark Knight game, so I hadn't really had a good look at Shadow's armor, but I liked Lancelot's getup, too~ I just kinda have a thing for Gryphons
Because they're pretty birds I see where you're coming from, though. Ever since I met LN a few years ago she has thouroughly gotten me addicted to them. They're so interesting to draw
Haha, Shadow? I see. I knew he is so familiar! Really cool colouring! o.o I don't remeber seeing such detailed style colouring from you, Or did I miss sth? Are you experimenting with new things? :3

Now that is cool! I like your take on Shadow in a different form a lot. Very nice attention to detail in terms of shading, the eye and the background. It looks awesome! Plus the background really makes the darker colors pop out so it's got a great balance to it! Very awesome job.
