May 16 - So, like... 24 hours ago, my computer crashed... with all my work still on it...

May 19/20 - Update! Computer is back up thanks to my mother finding a spare power supply; the /C drive borked after I tried to do a system scan, some files appeared to be corrupted. I thought a format was required, but it turned out uninstall/delete and reinstalling the borked program helped.

The computer seems to be working okay now; it gave us trouble the past few days, always freezing when we thought we got it to work, so for the time being, I think the worst has passed. I'm gonna copy my work elsewhere just to be on the safe side anyway...

Oh, and I got a new keyboard; my old one was missing lots of letters cause of writing on it for so long, but this one is tiny so my fingers tend to typo even more now since this keyboard is smaller than the old one, and the keys are a bit stiff...

HOLY SHITBALLS! My Mac crashed on me around 3pm today

*is using a friends at the moment* Anyway... focusing on something OTHER than myself..

is it a big crash that needs attention from a professional or did it merely have a major spazz attack?

I'm on my sister's comp backing stuff while in safe mode; chances are I'll have to format everything, it's a system crash ;_;

Its a big one, been struggling with it since yesterday; tried to restart multiple times and luckily got it into safe mode without it self rebooting; I'm copying my files onto my sister's comp, but it's a 50/50 chance I'll have to format, or just buy a new comp... ;_;

I'm really sorry to hear that ;__; *hugs* I hope at the very least you won't need to buy a new machine and I hope you can salvage all your files, At least you're able to access them right~? Think positive think positive

Me too, I have junk on there that dates back to 2005, mostly original work; I'd be devastated is I lost those!

Oh I can imagine! Luckily nothing on my machine dates past September last year so i GUESS I got off lucky (kinda). People like us really need external hard drives don't we?

(Sorry if I sound creepy. I just find it tragically funny that both our computers decided to explode around the same time)
